Ocean Exploration Trust – multi-year grant to Dr. Robert Ballard's efforts, using the research vessel NAUTILUS, to explore the deep ocean with remotely operated vehicles (ROVs) and offer the collected data to scientists, students, educators, and the public at large to help improve the understanding of the ocean and enrich STEM education via telepresence.  

 

In 2013-2014, NAUTILUS explored the waters of the Southern Grenadines and the Foundation organized a field trip for secondary school students and teachers from surrounding islands to come aboard and learn about the science and technology behind this project.
